My dog has a loose tooth but no pain. Does he need an emergency vet?

If she has a tooth hanging out, it's not necessarily an emergency, but I would recommend taking her to vet in the morning. If it's a baby tooth, it is usually not a problem since they will fall out eventually. If it's an adult tooth that is hanging, she will likely need to be put under anesthesia to have it extracted as these broken adult teeth are very painful and prone to infection.

It seems like that tooth has to be extracted as it is full of tartar and probably very much exposed and unstable. I would recommend to have Peanut checked as soon as possible and have most appropriate procedure performed. Hello. That tooth probably should come out, even though it is a puppy tooth, but you can wait until Friday as long as Luna does not seem uncomfortable. . Your veterinarian might just leave it be, but there is a small chance of infection that can get into the root & then the bone causing problems with the adult tooth. I would recommend seeking emergency veterinary care for at least pain control tonight if she is uncomfortable, lethargic, salivating a lot, whining or vomiting. In most cases such a condition should not require a vet visit or any pain killers, in some cases there could be an infection causing the tooth loss and that might need to be treated with antibiotics. If the pain does not seem to g away within a couple days- take Tucker to the vet in order to get it treated.
