Can my dog with a liver shunt eat some meat? We give him just granules, but he sometimes refuses them, because he wants something else to eat.

Hi there and thank you for using Pet Coach! It is absolutely fine to feed Pako chicken or beef with a liver shunt. If you are looking at making a homemade diet, I would advise you to check balanceit.com to help formulate a homemade diet that is balanced. You can even request a diet for specific diseases which will require a veterinarian approval, similar to a prescription. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions. I'd be more than happy to consult with you as well!
