My dog is in pain and limping. Can rest help until the vet opens?

Hi thanks for answering ,do you think she will be ok with some rest as the vets are closed at my time zone Many thanks jess

I think resting her is a good idea, don't let Lucy jump on and off anything, no running, take her out to toilet on a lead only and bring her right back in when she's done. If you have a crate, I would confine her in that for the night. Then if she is still non-weight bearing and in pain in the morning (including limping), I would take her into the vet in the morning.
