Hello, my dog keeps sniffing and licking the ground and corners of rooms. It's kind of odd to me because the floors have been swept and mopped and it's almost like she's obsessed. She does this even after she's ate. I just got her on Saturday and I think she was neglected before because she had the worst flea infestation I have ever seen. Could it be because she's still hungry? What can I do about that behavior, is that okay?

Hi there. Obsessive licking of surfaces, like walls or floors, is a common sign of nausea or GI distress in dogs. So I would recommend taking Lily to the vet for an exam, and discussing this issue with your veterinarian. It's likely that she has an underlying medical problem causing this behavior, which your vet should be able to help you address.
