My dog is lethargic, vomiting, no appetite for 5 days. What's wrong?

It sounds like your dog is sick. The drooling can be due to nausea, and the lethargy, vomiting, anorexia, and diarrhea could be due to a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, pancreatitis, or a foreign body. I would take your dog into a vet right away for an exam, he sounds quite ill with all these symptoms, and he needs to be medically treated ASAP.

Hello. I am sorry for your concerns about Andy. It sounds like she has a pretty serious stomach upset, either from an allergy, infection/inflammation, or ingestion of foreign material. I do not think the Zymopet is going to properly address this. I would definitely visit with your veterinarian about this, as this can be quite serious. In the meantime, you can try her on some Pepcid ( famotidine ) giving 5 mg per 10 pounds body weight once a day. I think I answered a question earlier for you about your dog's skin, so I think she may have some pretty serious sensitivities that need professional care. Thank you.

Poor girl. Vomiting more than 1-2 times and lethargy are major concerns for an internal illness such as kidney disease, liver disease, pancreatitis or even a viral infection. It is imperative that you take Baby to your local vet for diagnostic testing to determine what her internal illness is so that we know how to best help her. Anything you give her by mouth will likely be vomited back up, so I would not recommend offering her anything but water and getting her to a vet asap. Because she's been having these symptoms for several days, ideally, Zuki should be physically examined by your veterinarian. Given current events though, you may need to drive up to the clinic, drop her off then wait for your veterinarian to call you to discuss exam findings and treatment options.
