Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet ( boiled boneless / skinless chicken and plain white rice) in small, frequent amounts. Serve warm or mix in a teaspoon or two of baby food to stimulate the appetite. If her appetite does not return or she begins to vomit, see your veterinarian.

If your dog is dull and lethargic, and not wanting to eat, it could be a sign of something stuck in her stomach or intestines, or a gastritis/pancreatitis. I would suggest having her seen by a veterinarian. Alternatively, you can cook her boneless, skinless, boiled chicken breast and some boiled rice. If she eats this and keeps it down, I would feed her small meals of this for a couple days, and see if she gets better. If she does then it was mild gastritis, but if she vomits or continues to be lethargic I would bring her to a vet right away.

I wouldn't worry about bloat if he's eating and drinking OK. Lethargy and a firm abdomen can indicate that something is causing pain in the abdomen, but is not specific to any one problem. It could be an intestinal disease, liver information, kidney inflammation, or other condition affecting abdominal organs. In order to narrow-down the cause of this, Confucius needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian. It's not an emergency, but good to have him seen in the next day or two. You are correct that it could be his belly upsetting him, and I would monitor him overnight. Should he still not be eating or drinking in the morning, or if he is still lethargic, then I would take Ziggy into the vet. Over the night, if he starts vomiting, having diarrhea, or becomes very lethargic, then yes I would take him into an ER vet. Hopefully he just has an upset stomach and will feel better in the morning. These signs are very vague and common to many illnesses, injuries and infections. I recommend a vet check as soon as possible, in the meantime try to maintain hydration with fresh water, pedialyte, boiled chicken and fresh broth
