My dog has inoperable heart disease. How can I best care for her?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 years old | 16 lbs

My dog has inoperable severe pulmonary stenosis she’s only just two years old, four weeks ago I took her to the vets as she started loosing weight very quickly and also started laboured breathing, my vet examined her and thought she may have some fluid buildup and said it would be best to give her a duretic, she said while she’s here I will X-ray , after the X-ray she told me there was a lot of fluid and duretic would not disperse that amount, she’s now on fortekor,Vetmedin, Lasix and antenolo,

I'm very sorry Luna has such a serious problem as such a young age! Unfortunately your post was cut off, and there is no question so I'm not sure what you are asking. Please post again with your question so I or another expert can help you.
