My dog got a lump from her harness. It shrunk. Does she need a vet?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 1 month old | 12 lbs

I was told by an expert on her that my dog could of got pinched from her harness. I gave her a bath and ran Luke warm water on the lump/bump and it seemed to have gotten smaller. Is there still a need to see a vet?

Since we can't look up your previous posts, I don't know exactly what is going on in Mia's situation. However, if the lump appears to have gotten smaller, then I think it is ok to watch and see what happens over 24 hours. If it gets bigger or appears to cause Mia discomfort, then she should be checked out by a vet.
