Why is my German Shepherd crying, panting, clingy, with a mouth mark?

Any breathing problems should be treated as an emergency. Panting often indicates pain or anxiety, so she may have some general pain, or abdominal pain if she has eaten something that disagreed with her or swallowed something non-food, like a toy that is causing an obstruction. Left untreated, an obstruction can be life-threatening. I recommend getting her seen by your vet right away. They will do an exam, labwork and/or x-rays as indicated, and, based on these results your vet will be better able to tell you what is going on and how best to treat it.

It sounds like there are a few things going on with Mavis. If she can't put pressure on her front right paw, that means she is in pain. Pain would also cause her to have trouble getting comfortable, and can lead to the panting. The sneezing and coughing could be due to a respiratory infection. Please take her into the vet in the morning for these issues.

Willow is experiencing very general symptoms of disease, these symptoms could fit almost any internal condition, maybe she is suffering from nausea due to a gastrointestinal disease and maybe she is in pain, from the symptoms described it's very hard to know. i would recommend taking her to the vet as soon as possible in order to get her checked, if she doesn't show any other obvious symptoms during the examination, a blood test and possibly an ultrasound will be needed in order to try and find out what is wrong with her.

I am sorry to hear about Sadie. She definitely needs to visit a vet for this issue since it has been going on for so long. If she seems weak, has abdominal pain, is not eating or is vomiting, is having trouble breathing, or has pale gums then these would be reasons to seek emergency care. If not I would try to get an appointment at your vet as soon as possible.

She could have pain somewhere in or on her body or she could have anxiety. It is hard to say for sure without seeing her or examining her actions. I would recommend video taping her doing this and showing it to your veterinarian. The vet can also do a complete physical exam to make sure she is not hurting somewhere on her body. Typically pets will gnaw or limp on a certain leg if they are experiencing pain along the skin or musculoskeleton. So sorry that Babe is not feeling well. There is nothing we can tell you to do at home to help this situation. You need to get her to a vet ASAP for an exam. Are there no emergency vets in your area? You need to have a diagnosis of why she is having problems swallowing before we can give you any information on how to help her. Some options are: 1. myasthenia gravis 2. hypothyroidism 3. megaesophagus 4. autoimmune disorder 5. foreign body Of course there are many other rule-outs too. My suggestion for right now is to NOT offer her any food as if she can't swallow properly she may end up aspirating some food into her trachea and down into her lungs. That can cause pneumonia which would be very serious. Dogs can go days without eating so I don't think that will harm her that much. She does need water though so offer her only small sips of water at a time, again, so she doesn't aspirate. Get her to a vet ASAP. She sounds very sick and since she is in pain it would be best to get her some relief. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

I’m sorry Delilah isn’t feeling well. Many things can cause these symptoms. However because she is an older German Shepherd I would be concerned about a possible bleeding mass in her abdomen. These are common in shepherds. However many other problems such as heartworm disease, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, and anemia from other problems would also be on my list of concerns. I’m glad you are going to have her seen tomorrow. If she gets worse tonight you can always take her to an emergency clinic if you are concerned. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon.
