My dog is constipated after dewormer. What home remedies help?

I gave my dog a dewormer and she pooped like early in the night I gave it to her but she hasn’t pooped since then she has been eating rice and chicken and drinking water but she won’t poop I can’t afford to go to a vet any at home advice

I would not be overly worried about not pooping for a day or even two. It is not common. You can try feeding her 1/4 cup of pumpkin twice a day (pure pumpkin, not pie filling). The extra fiber may help push things through.

    Not likely. Constipation can be a very serious condition, it can be caused by a physical blockage (foreign body like a bone) or a functional peristalsis deficiency of the intestines.
    In order to treat simple constipation, you should increase the fibers in the food (e.g. canned pumpkin) and can add a little mineral oil to the diet.
    I strongly advise taking your dog to the vet in order to check if there is a serious condition causing the constipation first.
