My dog has bumps on both hind legs and is limping. ER or wait?

Considering the mass just appeared and she's also lame, I would suspect that it's a fluid swelling due to an injury. It would be best to have her seen by a vet sometime in the next day or two in order to diagnose the specific condition and provide the necessary treatment. It's really difficult to know what this is without seeing it. It could be related to an infection, could be a fluid swelling from getting hurt, or a congenital abnormality. I doubt it's something contagious, but I can't know for sure without seeing it. If the pup is otherwise acting normal, then it's not an emergency and can wait until the next day to see you regular vet. If Iris is acting differently and/or not feeding as well, then it would be best to take her to an emergency vet. Please make an appointment to have Tammh seen by a vet as soon as possible. She is likely in pain, and may have a muscular or nerve injury, a fractured bone, a mass, or a foreign body in the leg. Your vet can assess the leg during the physical exam and may recommend x-rays to help determine the cause of Tammh’s limp. Pain medications meant for humans can be very dangerous (and even deadly) for dogs, so I do not recommend giving any to Tammh without consulting with your vet.

It will not resolve without a long course of oral antibiotics. Now, that being said, this could be a primary issue or a secondary issue - I cannot tell you without examining her myself and doing some testing. Certain types of tumors such as mast cell tumors, hemangiomas, injuries, blood blisters, etc can all appear like this, and so it should be looked at and biopsied to see what is going on. Until you can get to your vet in the morning, keeping Berkeley from licking or chewing on the spot with an Elizabethan (cone) collar is best to reduce any further injury or irritation.
