Pet's info: Dog | Cane Corso | Male | neutered | 4 years and 3 months old | 130 lbs
Hello, My 4 year old male Cane Corso just had surgery to remove bladder stones. My vet put him on a vegetarian diet but I am having trouble getting him to eat. I was giving him chicken breast with his dry food will that cause a problem? The stones were tested and they are cysteine stones. I need suggestions on what to feed him that he will like

Cooked chicken and rice isn't a balanced diet for Buddy. Have you considered that his not eating the food could be due to an illness? I'd have him checked out by a vet to make sure everything is ok. If everything is ok, then discuss diet options with his vet. Given he's on a prescription diet, only his vet should make the decision on what to feed him. I don't want to suggest anything that would go against what his vet wants.
