My 12 yrs old dog was diagnosed with bladder cancer a month ago after two rounds of UTI meds didn’t work. Tumor is about 1.5 inches 1/3 of her bladder. Chose to just have her on pain meds so she doesn’t suffer since there’s no cure. The last two days she started peeing blood almost all the time. Is this a sign it’s getting closer to her and. I don’t want her suffering even though she still seems like her playful self.

Hi, I cannot answer this question without knowing more about your dog's condition and what medications she is on. Some dog can do fine for days, weeks, other longer. You have to watch her ability to urinate carefully. IF she becomes unable to void her bladder, she has to see aa vet and you have to decide if euthanasia is the right decision. As long as she is urinating, she has a good chance. I am sorry to hear of this diagnosis and wish you the best.
