Pet's info: Dog | Labradoodle | Male | 1 year and 7 months old | 30 lbs
My 18 month old labradoodle has developed bad breath and buildup on the lingual surfaces of his teeth, which is red-ish/brown color. I assumed this was tartar build up from not brushing his teeth often enough. Upon researching some tartar removal options (such as greenies and raw hides), I read that dogs do not accumulate tartar/calculus buildup on the lingual surfaces. Should I be concerned about the dark-colored build up on my dog’s teeth?
