My dog ate raw bacon. What should I do? Is it dangerous for him?

Bacon (even if not expired) can most certainly cause diarrhea in dogs. I would put Dempsey on a bland diet for a few days of boiled skinless boneless chicken breast and white rice. If the diarrhea is persisting or the blood continues I would have him seen by a veterinarian for an exam and medication for the diarrhea. Diarrhea with some frank blood indicates inflammation in the colon and can be caused by eating foods that upset the stomach, but can also be caused by other things such as parasites.
