Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Xander!

I am so sorry Xander is so ill from ingesting a toxic toad. There is no antidote for these toads. Once they ingest the toxin it is just supportive care until the toxin is out of the system. In some cases the toads are deadly. I suggest Xander be hospitalized if he is not improving and it has been 8 days. He should be in IV fluids and his seizures need to be controlled with medications. The toxin can cause electrolyte abnormalities that can cause heart arrhythmias and they can be in a lot of pain.

I hope this helps and I wish Xander the very best!
