My puppy ate a frog or toad and is throwing up. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 4 months old | 4 lbs

My puppy is 4 months old and he ate frog or a toad and hes not eating or drinking water unless i syringe water in his mouth and hes throwing up white flem

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Diamond. Certain types of toads can be very poisonous to dogs. I would recommend that he sees an emergency veterinarian as he is acting sick already. Being a young puppy, he will be more susceptible in the case of a toxin ingestion. I hope this information helps!
