My dog accidentally ate a 5mg desloratadine pill. Is it safe?

What happens if a dog takes a pill that has desloratadine? (it didn’t happen, just curious! also the pills are 5mg)

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Desloratidine is an antihistamine or allergy medication. It is typically safe for dogs, especially at such a low dose.
