My dog ingested weed killer. What symptoms should I look for?
Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
It depends on the chemical on what signs you can see. Vomiting, diarrhea, increased salivation, tremors, seizures, twitching are the most common signs if an animal eats a pesticide. Most pesticides sprayed on the lawn are not the cause of most cases of vomiting and diarrhea though they tend to always get blamed. If Bella drank from the bottle or ate a lot of the plant with the chemical then the her signs could be from the weed killer.
I am glad she is better and if she is eating, drinking and acting fine hopefully all is good now!
I hope this helps!
