My anxious dog is pacing and drooling after we brought home a new dog.

Introduce her to one dog for ever increasing periods of time. Start out for a minute or two. Increase the amount of time as she acclimates. Do this on "neutral" ground such as a park or field. Once she is used to being around one dog, introduce a second dog and begin again. Praise and reward her as she progresses. A pheromone product such as the Adaptil collar or DAP diffuser may decrease any anxiety during introductions.

Royal canin calm food can be very helpful with anxiety and nervous behaviors, as can thundershirts and pheromone products. I would also recommend your husband feeds and walks her in the garden for toilet breaks so she can build up her confidence with him in positive, non-threatening routine patterns of behavior

Sounds like its been a very stressful situation for Dalila. It may take some time for her to get used to her new surroundings. At home, you can try things such as a pheromone diffusing collar/plug in to help her calm down some, or even play a soothing talk radio or TV show when you are away. Distraction through extra play sessions, puzzle and chew toys, etc may also help her cope with the change. If the anxiety continues, or worsens, talking with your vet or a local veterinary behaviorist is best as they may be able to suggest additional training tips or even provide a medication to help reduce her anxiety while she adjusts.

I recommend giving Zoe lots of attention and keep to her same routine. Often when people get new dogs they are so time demanding that the other dog gets put aside. Puppies are annoying also so give Zoe some time alone so she can relax and sleep without him bothering her. I find playing with them outside, or walking together usually helps. Feed them separately so Zoe isn’t worried about her food. In addition I would try her on an anti anxiety supplement like Solliquin. This will help her relax. Poor Jasper! It sounds like he's quite stressed and anxious at the moment. Without more information, it's hard to say if this is simply due to all of the changes he's experienced recently (new home, new owner, etc.) or if he has some generalized anxiety issues. I would recommend giving him some time to settle in - this behavior may resolve over the next several days once he has a chance to adjust to his new living situation. You can help by giving him some tasty things to chew on (large rawhide chews, bully sticks, etc.) as chewing is a relaxing activity for dogs - just make sure to give him his own space while he chews, and don't allow your other dog to bother him. You may also want to try a DAP pheromone collar along with a natural calming supplement like Zylkene or Composure. If there is no improvement in his anxiety within the next week or so, it would be best to consult with a veterinary behaviorist who can evaluate him in person and help you put together a detailed plan to work on his issues. Congrats on your new dog, but it does sound like Iris has severe separation anxiety. I would have her seen by a vet for this. The vet can give you a referral to a professional behavioral expert to work on training techniques to lessen her anxiety. The vet can also discuss the use of anti-anxiety medications in Iris. I would also recommend getting a DAP diffuser. This diffuses pheromones in the room which helps dogs with anxiety. A Sentry calming collar can be used as well, which releases the calming pheromones when in contact with her skin.

Good on you for introducing them slowly! I would use a DAP diffuser. This releases pheromones that help with anxiety in dogs. You can pain this with a Sentry calming collar for the dogs. When in contact with their skin, it also releases pheromones. This may help with their anxiety around the kittens.
