Hi there. Great question!
In reality, the best thing is to brush them at least once per day but I would say that is not realistic for most owners. If you could do it at least 3 times per week I think that would be sufficient under most circumstances.

Ideally the teeth should be brushed every day, but this is not always an option. in some breeds it's more critical than others, generally speaking twice a week should be decent enough for most dogs that are not prone to bad gums/teeth.
