Help! My adopted dog bites and barks at the vet. What should I do?

Kalon is a beagle mixed She barks and snips at the vet bites Getting her nails trmed with the vet is a no no at this time She was adopted 1 month ago beat and burned please where do I go? Thank you Susan Fuller

I think it would be a really good idea for you to take Kalon to see a qualified behaviourist. If you contact your vet they should he able to refer you to a registered behaviourist that they recommend. Otherwise you could search for a registered behaviourist on your area. They will be able to help you implement a strategy to improve her behaviour especially considering a lot is likely due to past trauma. You could also chat to your vet about herbal calming remedies.
