Is he a young cat? If so he may be looking for something to do such as hunting. If he is an older cat then I would be worried about possible hyperthyroidism or diabetes. You may want to consider different toys or tall cat trees that allow him to watch birds out of the window. She is likely crying due to hormonal imbalance. She may be in heat again. She may be pregnant, I don't know as I haven't examined her. I suggest you get to a vet and if she is not pregnant she needs to be spayed ASAP. She sounds like she is very sensitive to hormones and that is not going to stop without spaying. Cats do not show that they "miss" their babies or their other families by crying out loud. That is not normal.

Crying can be because he’s hungry, cold, or has to go potty. Make sure you are feeding him often enough with kitten milk replacer if he is not nursing his mother. Stimulating him to pee and poop with a warm damp cloth around his tail should be done several times a day to keep him regular. With a 2 month old kitten crying in the litter box I would be concerned about diarrhea or even constipation. If this is the case I would recommend bringing Kajin to be evaluated at your veterinarian to make sure there is no intestinal parasites and to make sure this is what is going on. This can be from over use or from the start of respiratory infection that causing a sore throat. If she is eating and drinking well with no sneezing, coughing or runny eyes, then you can monitor her to see if it comes backs. If further respiratory signs develop or her appetite changes, then she needs to be seen by a vet

He is so cute! If your vet did not find any problems and he appears perfectly healthy then it is probably just the way he vocalizes and normal for him. Continue to monitor for any changes or abnormal behavior and recheck with your vet, if needed.

Cats will often meow or cry when they want attention, and I would guess that this is why they are waking you up in the morning. Some cats are more vocal than others.
