Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 16 years and 8 months old
My 16.5 year old cat has had this tumor for a couple of years. It has slowly gotten larger and now it looks pretty gross in terms of coloration, hair loss and size. We originally thought it was a fatty lipoma, but now the vet says she’s not so sure. She said they can do a surgical removal to test it, but the procedure is costly and stressful, and if it is cancer, we would likely just do palliative care due to her age. Any one have any opinions on what this looks like in its current state?
