Why is my male cat meowing loudly and aggressively attacking me?

From the behaviours you are describing it sounds very likely linked to the fact that Manny isn't neutered yet. He is reaching sexual maturity and the hormones in his body are alerting his behaviour. After he is neutered it will take a little time but these behaviours should diminish. That is unusual behavior so he may be irritable from being in pain. Outdoor unneutered male cats often fight and he may have an injury you can’t see which is painful. I recommend confining him to another room until he calms down so no one else gets injured, and see if he is eating normally. If this behavior continues please take him in for an exam to check for a wound or area of pain. In addition I would consider neutering him also. A sudden change in behavior may have, at its root, injury or infection. Ideally, Rostom should be physically examined by your veterinarian to diagnose and treat any medical causes for his sudden aggression. Neutering him should be strongly considered as testosterone can be a driving force behind aggressive behaviors. Once medical causes have been ruled out, you can address behavioral concerns such as stress or anxiety. A pheromone product, such as Feliway Spray or plug in diffusers, may help decrease any aggression or anxiety. A gradual desensitization to loud noises can also be done to lessen Rostom's response to them.

I’m sorry to hear about your cat. Perhaps he is protecting another cat (do you have a female in heat)? Perhaps he is not feeling well. Or perhaps he is just taking out some male aggression on you? If he is not neutered yet, I recommend that. You can also try a cat toy to see if he just needs to get some prey-drive type behavior out of his system. Getting him sterilized may help. If you are not planning on breeding him then it would be best to go ahead and do it. Unfortunately it's impossible to know why Adik is meowing so much! If the cats are not spayed and neutered, he is more likely to reactive if the female is coming into heat or if there are other un-neutered males outside. If they are not spayed and neutered, I recommend to have this done. This may help to decrease reactivity but it may now fully control it. Other things you can do are related to environmental enrichment.
