My 8 month old kitten started sneezing a lot lately, his mucus seems clear and I haven't noticed and changes in behavior. Should I be concerned?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It sounds that Ember has cat flu. As long as his energy level is high, he has good appetite and he does not have any breathing difficulties, you should monitor him at home. Uncomplicated cat flu should go away within 7-10 days. However, if Ember becomes lethargic, off food or the discharge from the nose and eyes turns green / yellow you should take him to your local vets for a check.
