How long should I quarantine a kitten with ringworm for treatment?

Cats with ringworm can remain contagious for about three weeks if aggressive treatment it used, which it sounds like you are doing. I would keep them isolated for at least another week. Keep in mind you will have to disinfect the environment as well because ringworm spores can live in it up to 18 months. I've found that if you wash your hands after handling Sierra and do not have any open wounds it is uncommon to catch this from her. Since you've treated her and are giving the medicated baths she should be even less likely to spread Ringworm. It can take 3-4 weeks to to a few months to clear a ring worm infection in a cat. Please make sure to also clean her bedding at home very well and give all medications as directed by her veterinarian. Hello. Continue the lime sulfur dips 1-2 times weekly until all of the lesions have healed. This may take 2-6 weeks, but since you have thoroughly cleaned the house, you do not need to do this again. Unfortunately, it is better not to bathe them between their lime sulfur dips. We normally dip cats once or twice weekly and do not recommend bathing them between dips. If the smell is not tolerable, you can ask your vet about using an antifungal shampoo to bathe Oliver in. it will not work as well as a lime sulfur dip, but might be another option. Generally speaking yes you can do it but that would depend on the severity of the ringworm infection (a picture of the lesions would help to better assess its severity). In some cases only the ointment is effective and enough to sort out the infection. We cannot prescribe medication but you can bathe her in a cat labeled iodine or fungal shampoo twice weekly. Cats are very sensitive to medication so do not use anything on your kitten unless it is specifically labeled as safe for kittens. Check at you pet store and they should be able to help you find a safe shampoo for Misty. I recommend cleaning the bedding also and washing your hands after playing with Misty. Usually as the kitten grows up they have better immunity and they will start to heal the skin on their own too.
