Why is my hyperthyroid cat shaking, drooling, vomiting, and hiding?

It's not likely to be any of those meds that is causing the drooling, the two main options are kidney failure (common in old cats and in cats with hyperthyroidism) or a gum/teeth disease. i would recommend taking Sekani to the vet in order to get it checked, i recommend repeating a blood test to also check the kidney function.

So sorry she is having these problems. It sounds like she should be re-examined by a veterinarian since her signs are not well managed. Your vet may need to add in a blood pressure medication and/or an anti-seizure medication, as well as adjust her thyroid medication. If your vet is not able to manage her disease than your could go to a different vet for a second opinion or even take her to a specialist for an evaluation. Please call your vet an give him/her an update.

Poor Sophie, she looks very sweet. It sounds to me like she is having serious digestive issues and needs to be examined by a veterinarian. She could have developed inflammatory bowel disease or some other internal issue causing the blood stools. She likely is pooping outside the litter box because she has increased urgency to go and can't hold it as long due to a medical issue. It is unlikely the pooping outside the box will resolve until the medical issue is addressed. Your veterinarian may need to do blood work to figure out what is causing the problem. Sophie may need a special prescription diet or a medication like Flagyl to help resolve the issue. If she is drooling it's likely she may have dental disease so your veterinarian can examine her mouth and address the problem. With her balance being off I'm also concerned she may be in pain and require prescription pain medication. Please remember there are no safe over the counter pain medications for cats so you will need to have these prescribed by a veterinarian. Since it has been several months since her last bloodwork was done I would recommend bringing her in if this change in behavior is lasting longer than a few days and there haven't been any other changes in the household that would be causing her anxiety (such as new pets, people, etc.).

I'm sorry you lost your other cat and that Bird is now showing symptoms of another disease. The most common diseases in older cats are renal failure, hyperthyrodism and diabetes. It is really not a wise decision to give Bird any of the other cats medications. Just because you think she looks like she has symptoms of hyperthyroidism doesn't mean she actually has it. As a vet, I have been fooled many times. You could certainly kill her by doing this or make things worse. Even if she is hyperthyroid she may not need the same dose that the other cat was on. If she is that stressed getting to the vet I would ask your vet if they would be willing to make a house call to draw blood as that is the way to diagnose this issue. I'm sorry to hear that Cleo isn't eating as well as she normal does. Hyperthyroidism typically causes weight loss despite an increase in appetite, although rare cats may experience a decreased appetite. The change in Cleo's appetite alone may or may not be associated with hyperthyroidism. Other causes of this sudden lack of interest in food and lethargy could be related to a gastrointestinal virus, kidney disease, parasites, liver disease, among many other conditions. If she still isn't eating normally in the next day or two, Cleo should go to her vet for evaluation and likely blood testing. However, if she becomes experiences extreme lethargy, experiences profuse vomiting or diarrhea, or will not drink water, Cleo should go to the vet immediately. Symptoms of hyperthyroidism (over active thyroid) in cats are: weight LOSS not gain, increased thirst and urination, increased hunger and vocalizing especially at night. They can have heart murmurs and arrhythmia. The side effects on not treating is heart disease and weight loss. I recommend treating if her T4 is above the high end of the reference range.
