This actually sounds more like a viral upper respiratory infection. Herpesvirus and calicivirus are very common in cats and many cats are exposed as kittens then continue to have mild outbreaks throughout their lives, particularly during times of stress. Symptoms include watery or red eyes with clear discharge, squinting, sneezing and clear nasal discharge. If this is new for Cass I'd recommend having your veterinarian take a look at her to see what they think. I would not recommend using any eye washes or giving antihistamines - this would be unlikely to help and could make the symptoms worse.

It could be a superficial eye infection, or even a flare up of an upper respiratory tract infection. You should indeed have skittles seen soon to make sure he does not have a deep corneal ulcer that requires aggressive medical intervention. Look for any signs of sneezing, nasal discharge, or bilateral ocular discharge as these may be more consistent with an upper respiratory tract infection. The watery eye might be due to an eye infection, if it persists it will require an antibiotic eye drop. the vomiting might be a one time thing, but if it reoccur in the next 24 hours then it's probably a gastrointestinal infection, this might require a vet visit in order to get it treated.
