Do oral ulcers during a URI point to the FCV as opposed to FHV? Cat had FVRCP a month ago, but vet today diagnosed FCV due to corneal ulcers with swelling, a s all ulcer on tongue, and an ulcerated nose. Are there any telling signs to look for to distinguish the two? Cat is somewhat lethargic spends an hour or so of rambunctious activity after he wakes up. Incredibly hyper after his long naps, eats/drinks/eliminates regularly. Is the FVRCP vaccination not a fail safe for the calici virus?
