I'm taking my cat Mercy to the vet next week for a wellness/precautionary checkup. I've noticed that she's been drinking more water lately and is always extremely thirsty in the morning. She drinks about 8oz of water a day. Is that too much? I've also noticed some slight twitching around her face, but only when she's resting. Also a slight increase in urination. So my question is, what would be more helpful, a urinalysis or a blood test? And what type of blood test? Thank you for your advice.
