Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 7 months and 21 days old
Took my kitten in to be spayed a couple weeks ago. She ripped open the incision and started to get an infection, so she was taken back in and restitched up. Just got the external stitches removed yesterday and noticed today now she has a small open hold next to the incision site. Her incision looks great. It looked like a small cut yesterday and the vet said it was fine. What could this be?? Will it heal on its own? This has been stressful!

It looks like the incision is healing well, and it does look open a bit. It doesn't appear the hole goes into the abdominal cavity, but I would still have her checked out by a vet to be safe. I'd take her into a vet in the morning. Best of luck.
