Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 8 months and 16 days old | 10 lbs
He violently sneezes all the time. A yellow mucus sparks everywhere. I treated him twice with the gel that you put in the eyes. That cleared up the runny eyes. However the sneezing never went away. What would cause this?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Hairy. It is not normal for a cat to sneeze and have nasal discharge for so long. Has he had a course of antibiotics yet? A bad respiratory tract infection can cause these symptoms and some will require extended treatment with antibiotics. If this does not help, then I would consider advanced dental disease. An infection around the root of a tooth can cause these symptoms as well. Lastly, cats can come down with fungal infections in the nasal cavity. I hope this information helps!
