I found 1 ringworm spot on my cat's back 2 days ago. I took him to my local vet, I asked about cleaning transmission of disease she told me go to the CDC website didn't help me at all. I got an RX for an oral antifungal treatment that I can't afford. My question is, can I use athlete's foot cream to treat it? How do I avoid my cat licking the area on his back should I cover it with gauze? And also is it something I should do once a day or multiple times a day? Any other affordable treatments?
