Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 11 years old | 15 lbs
11 year old cat recently started complaining about eating his dry food, and has began demanding and crying for more of his soft food, which has always been a once a day treat, not his main diet. He's already round, robust, and ridiculously spoiled so I refuse to accommodate every demand regardless of his loud and pathetic insistence. He is far from starving and has always been in good health so I'm worried what this means. Is it mouth pain or plain elderly feline attitude and stubbornness?

It could be Gabby has a dental problem making it painful for her to eat dry food and favor the canned food. Canned food is easier on the teeth. The vet can check her teeth and determine if there is a dental problem causing this behavior. I hope this helps!
