My cat has sores that come and go on her face and body. What's wrong?

My cat has had sores that come and go.they are on her face and spreading to her eye.she has had them on her back legs.her face,they take about two weeks.then gone.they come back and stay for couple weeks.then go away. But come back.i have some pictures

This is probably caused by an allergic reaction. first of all make sure you de-flea Stevie regularly every month with a high quality spot on (ex. Advantage) as fleas are by far the most common reason for these reactions. If the fleas are not the problem, it could be an allergic reaction to food or an environmental factor. this is more complicated to treat and will sometimes require medications such as Steroids, anti histamines or cyclosporin in order to stop the allergy.

It looks like these sores are also associated with some swelling around the cheek area there. Given the location, I would be most suspicious that she has a tooth-root abscess that is continually bursting and draining. In this case, she would need to have the tooth pulled and be put on antibiotics for a little while.

In order to get this fixed you'll have to schedule an exam with your vet. This could be something else like a fungal infection or foreign-body, so they will need to do a full exam and run some tests in order to find out. If it is a tooth problem, then they'll be able to clean and pull any other teeth that are a problem at that same time. Usually if there is one bad tooth, there are a few.

My cat has recurring sores on her body, tail, leg, and face. Why?
