My cat pees on my bed. How do I stop it & get my lazy cat to play?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 12 lbs
My cat keeps periodically peeing my bed, something like once or twice a month (twice he also pooped). My vet said it doesn't look like a health problem, that he probably feels neglected and I should play with him more, and I'm trying but my cat is very lazy and only rarely I manage to spark his interest and actually make him play. What should I do to stop the problem and make him play more?

Urinating and defecation out of the litter box are commonly cause by feline stress. True, sometimes it can be cause by too little social interaction, but it could also be cause by myriad other things. You may consider supplements like Feliway ( http://m.pet-supplies.drsfostersmith.com/search?w=feliway%20for%20cats ) or Hill’s c/d stress ( http://m.pet-supplies.drsfostersmith.com/search?w=C%2Fd+stress ).
