I have a cat who is almost 3yrs of age. For some time now he has sounded congested in his nose and throat, this is herd mostly when he is at rest or sleeping. My vet has tried an antibiotic shot he was given twice over two months, now we are doing a liquid antibiotic I give him once a day. There seems to be little to no improvement. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated?!!!

Hello
Jaxson's history and symptoms can also indicate a viral upper respiratory infection, a polyp in his throat, or he is having a resistant infection. There are other potential causes but these would be the top concerns for me.
I advise you to continue as directed by your veterinarian as well as monitor him for any change in appetite changes in his eyes, difficulty eating, and weight loss. Otherwise you can also address your concerns about another cause with your veterinarian.
