My cat had a recent flea problem and I'm worried about infections. She scratches her neck and chin a lot (similar to the other neighbourhood cats). When I was rubbing her chin and throat I noticed a bump where the larynx is typically located. It's probably a few millimetres across, definitely less than a centimetre.. Is this just a normal part of her anatomy like a thyroid gland or part of the larynx? She doesn't seem in pain and when I touch it she doesn't withdraw. It's covered in fur, no scab
