Hello. 3 weeks ago we took our cat to the vet for urine crystals, he also had a sore leg. The vet physically assessed him and said there was nothing wrong. He was treated for the crystals and we changed his food. 3 weeks on, he is still limping and now is visible pain. He still uses his leg, baring a little weight and it is NOT limp. we don’t have the money right now ($100) for a vet to touch him again

It could be Peepus has strained or torn a ligament or muscle, or could have broken a bone. He could have also stepped on something. Limping means he is in pain, so I would take him into a vet now to get checked out. Best of luck.
