Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Female | spayed | 16 years and 2 months old | 7 lbs
I have a Himalayan cat named Ginger, who has been diagnosed with kidney disease. We have her on EFA oil and Royal Canin Renal formula. She seems to do really well with this combination of treatment, but Saturday had an episode of vomiting and today found mucous in her urine. She drinks Sam's Choice bottled water however I noticed that it has magnesium sulfate, potassium bicarbonate and potassium chloride - all three salt derivatives. Is this harmful for her condition? She is 16.
