Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 13 years old | 10 lbs
Hi. My cat is 12 years old. I took him to the vet a week ago for a check-up, and while most of his blood test results were in normal range (minus immune respond, most likely due to a tooth infection, as the vet took off quite a large chunk of tartar off of one of his molars, and he bled a little after she was done), his amylase was high (1755 U/L). I read that this could be due to pancreas issues or it could be nothing. My vet isn't concerned as his other levels were okay. I'm just concerned.
