Is my 8-month-old cat in heat? She's chirping and licking a lot.

It sounds like LaLa could be in heat! Cats in heat vocalize a lot and are more affectionate than usual. Their behavior can be extremely annoying while in heat, so I'd have her spayed if you don't want to deal with this anymore. Best of luck.

Hello. It is possible that Kiara is bothered by some kind of skin parasite, such as cat fleas or mites. You may need to apply an appropriate flea topical to help her. She may also be in heat. She is old enough to come into heat & they can act & vocalize in strange ways. If the behavior continues, please have her seen by your veterinarian. She may simply need to be spayed. It sounds like Bonnie is in heat! The behavior you describe is typical when a cat is in heat and is looking to mate. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to stop this behavior, it will stop when she is no longer in heat. Keep in mind she will cycle again, and in the fall and spring is when cats cycle the most frequently. Hi there. If Lily is a young cat (around 8-9 months to a year old) and is not spayed, it's likely that she's in heat. These are all normal behaviors for a cat during her heat cycle. If this is the case, having her spayed should resolve these issues.

It could be that Ochan is in heat, and her behavior of being super affectionate when you pet her makes me suspect this is the case. Cats do not always have constant behavior each time they go into heat, and they can act aggressive. If you do not want to have to deal with this constant cycle of behavior (and it can get worse with constant vocalization), I would recommend having her spayed as soon as possible.
