Can cataracts in my 15-year-old cat be treated with surgery?

my 15 yr old cat has developed cataracts .Any treatment ?

I'm sorry to hear that! The only treatment for cataracts is surgery to remove the diseased lens and replace it with an artificial one - just like what is done in humans for this problem. If this is something you're interested in doing with Alex, you can ask your veterinarian for a referral to a veterinary ophthalmologist who can evaluate him to see if he would be a good candidate for surgery. There are no eye drops or other treatment options that will help with cataracts, unfortunately.
