My cat has a brown spot on his chin. Is it a wart or something else?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 14 lbs

my cat has a small dot on his chin, that is brown in color. Could this be a wart and should i be concerned about it? Puss is 11.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is hard to know without being able to evaluate Puss and see it. This is most likely a benign or malignant nodule. This is most of the time differentiated with a test called a fine needle aspirate which is easy, cheap and pain-free. Sometimes, a biopsy is required for a diagnosis. Have Puss evaluated by your veterinarian to have this test performed to try to sort out what the diagnosis is so that the best course of action can be determined. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is something benign!
