My cat has a black eye lump that bleeds and keeps reappearing.

The veterinarian will use a small needle to collect a sample of cells to evaluate under the microscope. This will allow you to know the type of mass and if it appears cancerous or not. I would definitely have this swelling on Colby checked out by a vet. While it could be another mast cell tumor, it could also be a cyst. It could have ruptured internally and then grew back. Cysts often reoccur, and they may need to be removed surgically to prevent that from happening. The vet can diagnose what is causing the swelling, and can discuss treatment options with you.

Its still possible that the mass is benign but with the change in size and now the irritation, I would recommend to have it checked out. The doctor may recommend to aspirate it or may just want to remove it. Make sure to keep it clean and make sure that Jake is not able to scratch at it. I hope this helps!

This lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Blacky to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.

Hello! This is probably a small cyst or pimple-like structure, but given the age of Jak, I do recommend that he gets checked out by a vet sometime soon to be sure it isn't a cancerous lump. At the vet's office, they will give Jak a full exam, and possibly take a sample of cells from the lump with a small needle to look at under the microscope (called a fine needle aspirate, or FNA). I recommend taking Brody to your veterinarian for an exam. The lump could be an infection or it could be a tumor. Tumors can be benign or cancerous. Your veterinarian can take a sample of the area and decide if an infection is present or if it is something that needs to be removed surgically. Oh my. This appears to possibly be an injury to the eye and subsequent infection. It is hard to tell the degree of injury based on the photos, a vet exam is definitely needed her. I would highly recommend taking Mow to your local vet right away to get this eye tested, fully examined and treated. Best case scenario is that there isn't permanent damage done to this eye and antibiotics/pain medication /- drainage of a potential abscess are needed to get Mow better.
