My cat ate sisal rope from his cat tree. Should I be concerned?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 9 lbs

Skinny ate a little piece of sisal rope from his cattree/ scratch post .. It falls into little pièces .. Should i be concerned?

A short piece, like 1 inch, would not concern me, but several short pieces or 1 long piece would be concerns for a foreign body or blockage. I would monitor Skinny closely for lethargy, decreases appetite, or vomiting. See a vet immediately if anything seems off.
