It's probably not a "cold". It is most likely herpes virus. If it is herpes virus, it will never go completely away. They will have recurring episodes. All you can do to minimize future episodes it is to reduce stress. You can try some Feliway diffusers, they may help. I’m sorry to hear about Link but so glad he’s feeling better! For these guys I love to do a probiotic like Purina Fortiflora. This helps reset the gut and make it more efficient. You can also add a lysine supplement ( ) to help fight and prevent feline herpes virus which can come on after an illness like this. Yes this should be fine as long as she is feeling better. Also, you may consider putting her on a daily immune boosting vitamin like viralys or vetriscience lysine treats. It doesn’t treat the virus but it may help to boost her immune system. I hope this helps!
