My asthmatic cat won't eat for 2 days after vet. Is this serious?

Cats can actually develop severe liver disease if they go too long without eating. So she needs to start eating soon. Subcutaneous fluids can be given under the skin to help rehydrate her as I worry that she has become dehydrated from not eating and drinking properly. Her medications may need to be altered as well. This is a medical emergency - he is also very pale which indicates he is not getting sufficient oxygen around his system. This can be due to anemia, heart/lung disease or severe infection and shock. Please have him fully assessed by a vet urgently as this is immediately life threatening

If Jasper has not eaten anything in three days it is very important he gets a good physical exam by a vet. Cats can store fat in the liver and develop fatty liver disease when they do not eat for a while. It is possible that Jasper ate something he should not and gotten and upset stomach. However different illnesses like dental disease can be issues when cats stop eating. I hope that helps

I agree he could have a respiratory infection, but based on the fact that he's not eating, he has to see a vet now. Please take him into one immediately.
