No it won't, he will compensate it with the diet, but I would suggest to set him free gradually as it will take time for him to get used to the ''wild'' new environment. I'm sorry to hear about this! The best thing you can do is purchase/use another unused cage and fill it with food and water and place it in your backyard. If your budgie becomes hungry enough, she may come back to eat, which you can then close the cage and bring her back inside. If you do recapture her, a vet visit is best to check for any injuries. If she doesn't come back, her mate will likely be sad for a while as birds do bond, but if you have other birds, he may do OK. Eventually, adding in a new friend may help as well. It's hard to say if a pet bird would survive well in the wild or not. It greatly depends on the predators around, and the environment and food available.

Hello, the little bird likely fell out of his nest. If it hasn't been too long, you can take it back to where you got him to see if his nest and mother is still there, which would be best case scenario. Otherwise, it may take him some time to learn to fly on his own and you'll have to wait until his flight feathers grow fully. In the interim, you may continue to feed him baby food, or you may start to offer seeds, fruits, and veggies. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Birds do need a lot of room to fly, as well as a lot of attention; birds are in general a great deal of work and it is a big investment in time and money. Many people who have parrots allow them to perch free on top of the cage, or on other perches throughout the house. Be prepared for destruction--all birds use their beaks to explore (read:destroy) their environments, and the larger the parrot, the larger the beak! Also, many of these birds live longer than humans so it is important to have a plan in place for your children or others to be able to inherit and care for these birds after you are gone. Some parrots would be inclined to harass your rabbits, but I think actually attacking them is unlikely.

Your bird was on her own for six months, it's normal that she has essentially gone wild. It will take time and patience, but if you tamed her once, you can do it again. I do recommend getting her seen by your vet to assess her health and make sure she's okay.

It would be hard to say what the RSPCA will do as I'm not sure of the baby bird's situation. Most places will raise/rehabilitate the injured bird and then re-release it in an area surrounding. If the parents are actively looking for it, they may continue to do so for a few days until they give up/figure out the baby is gone. You can let the RSPCA know that the parents are looking for it, however as the baby bird is already in their care there probably won't be much to be done.

His best chances will be to stay with his parents. If you can see where the nest is, you may briefly pick him up to place him back in the nest. Most birds do not actually have a very good sense of smell, so your scent won't cause a problem - however, your presence will frighten the parents away. If you cannot return him to the nest, the best course of action depends on how old he is. If he's got feathers and can hop, he's probably a fledgeling who is learning to leave the nest and you should leave him alone. If he's just starting to get his feathers and seems bright (can lift his head and look around), make sure he's in a safe spot (you can make a little nest on the ground with a clean towel in a small box - but don't move him far from where you found him, so his parents can find him there too) and see if the parents come to feed him. If you're convinced he's on his own, or if he's too little to have any hope of surviving on the ground (even if the parents stop by to feed him), then I recommend finding your closest wildlife rehab location and calling to see if they'll take him.
